Northern Tier Counseling’s annual golf tournament was another great success this year. This was the facilities 8th annual golf outing. With the support of our title sponsor Wyoming Casing and 8 platinum sponsors this year, we raised $12,500.00 dollars. Our Platinum sponsors this year were from left to right- Brian Emick- Cargill, Thomas Thompson and Jeff Carr- First Citizens Community Bank, Casey- Ryan-Pine Groove Hauling Services, Jessica Kintner and Kyle Kintner-KLX Energy Services, Vince Arena-Moore’s Auto and RV Sales, Caleb Spencer-Allison Crane, Will Safarik and Ray Hansel-SASA Consulting, and Don Blumenauer-Expand Energy.
In the 8 years that we have run this tournament; we have raised $90,500.00 dollars. It should be noted that these funds are specifically utilized for children in service with Northern Tier Counseling that may have needs during the school year and specifically at Christmas time. The funds are used in the form of Christmas gifts, Christmas trees, winter clothes, food for the holidays or other needs that make the holiday season more enjoyable for the kids and families we serve. We are very thankful to the Towanda Golf Club for hosting our event and we hope to have it continue for many years into the future. Our community has truly stepped up to help make a lot more families holiday season more enjoyable.
