The Outpatient Therapy Department recently held its first clinician retreat, bringing together staff from all three office locations for a day focused on professional growth, connection, and team building. Hosted at the Troy Sale Barn, the event provided a unique opportunity for clinicians to step away from their daily routines and come together around a shared commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.
The retreat featured educational presentations on Adult ADHD and evidence-based approaches to the treatment of anxiety, giving clinicians valuable insights and practical tools to bring back to their work with clients. In addition to the educational sessions, participants engaged in interactive activities highlighting the benefits of play therapy and art therapy, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
Beyond the professional development opportunities, the retreat strengthened relationships among clinicians across all three offices. Attendees left with a renewed sense of camaraderie, a deeper connection to colleagues, and an enhanced understanding of the department’s shared mission and goals.
The success of this year’s retreat has generated enthusiasm for the future, and the Outpatient Therapy Department looks forward to making this gathering an annual tradition.
